Gen 1.1-4
“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. 3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. 4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.”
1. Everyone has a World just as God has a World
2. Your World is the circle of your influence
3. Let there be light is not Let there be sunlight. Darkness upon the face of the deep is not darkness of the night over a valley v.16-18
4. Let there be light means let there be life. John 1.1-5
5. In Gen 1.1-3, everything remained in darkness (lifeless) until there was light (life). Your World remains in darkness until the light-life takes over
6. The moon has no light of itself but radiates the light of the sun. So, Jesus as the light of the world has made you to be the light of the world
7. You are to go forth to radiate the light of Jesus in you. Arise, shine fir your light is come.
Conclusion
You can’t be in darkness and light up your world. The first person to receive the light is the light bearer. When the Light shows up in you it drives out every darkness. Make today the day the light will come inside you by accepting Jesus into your life as your Lord and Saviour
Action Point
This week, Everyone of us is going with a number of tracts today. You will use them as tools to light up your world:
1. As you go, anywhere you go, anyone you come across as you go, light up.
2. Deliberately and intentionally drop your car, enter a bus with passengers and light up your world inside the bus
3. Visit any hospital, busstop, schools and any public places and light up your world
4. Visit your village, towns, relatives and light up your world.
5. Light Up your home: family, children, spouse etc.
