Repentance Pathway to Revival

Isa 6:1-7 KJV 1 In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple. 2 Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly. 3 And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory. 4 And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke. 5 Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts. 6 Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar: 7 And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.
2Ch 7:14 KJV If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
1. What Revival is Not?
Revival is not the
.. emotional clapping of hands during church programs,
.. hysterical loud noise of drums during music concerts,
.. heavy outbursts of shouts of hallelujah when praising God,
.. ecstatic eloquence of speech during sermons
.. pentecostal demonstration of physical exercises that cause people to gyrate, speak in tongues, sweating during prayers or deliverance services
.. an evangelistic meeting or series of religious gatherings where special spiritual activities take place
2. What Revival is
.. a conscious spiritual brokenness as a result of a visit of the Lord brought about by genuine repentance from sin and moral decadence
.. a spiritual reawakening from a state of dormancy or stagnation in the life of a believer.
.. a convicting awareness of personal and corporate sin,
.. a fresh start with a clean slate, marking a new beginning of a life lived in obedience to God
3. WHAT are the Fruits of Revival?
WHAT Does Revival Beget ? WHAT Happens when there is Revival?
To the revived soul, church, state, or nation there will be
1. Continous Burning with zeal, hunger and thirst yearning for more of God; and more of His Presence.
Phi 3:10 KJV That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
2. Passion for intercessory prayers for the lost, unsaved and unconverted
Act 7:60 KJV And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.
3. Hatred and Intolerance of sin; Love of holiness, and righteousness
Heb 1:9 KJV Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
4. Addiction to Evangelism, soul winning, making disciples and fruits to abide
Joh 15:16 KJV Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
5. Sacrificial in giving, resources, time, money, gifts to God and things of God
2Co 12:15 KJV And I will very gladly spend and be spent for you; though the more abundantly I love you, the less I be loved.
6. Self-denial, self-crucifixion and complete sold-out to God
1Co 9:27 KJV But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.
7. Earthly-Relevant and
Heavenly-focused believers
Mat 5:13-16 KJV 13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Mat 18:3 KJV And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Conclusion
When someone is revived:
Revival leads to
1. rebirth,
2. regeneration,
3. reawakening,
4. restoration and
5. complete new life in Christ
6. Zealou
7. It will appear he’s crazy
8. It will seem as if he’s drunk
9. Some others will allege he’d accepted madness with religion
