A11.11 – ORGANIZATION OF THE CHURCH

1. There must be good order and organization in every local Church, Acts 14:23

2. Some Churches can be independent and self-governing, always spoken of as separate units such as stated as “Churches of Galatia,” Gal 1:1-2; “Churches of Judea,” Gal 1:22.

3. It is possible for several independent Churches to be under the organization of one district, 1 Cor 14:32-33

4. Some key officers that exercise spiritual oversight of the Church are: Elders, Deacons, Bishops, Pastors, Teachers, Evangelists and Overseers, 1Cor 12:27-30
