A8.7 – HOW DO I GET WATER BAPTIZED?

1. The first step is to be born again. How can I be born again? How can I be saved? How can my name be written in the Book of Life? How can I become a child of God? Rev. 21:7-8

Step 1: Admit that you are a sinner, because all have sinned, Romans 3:23

Step 2: Confess to God that you are a sinner, repent from your sin and ask for forgiveness from God, Acts 3:19

Step 3: Believe in and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, Romans 6:23

Step 4: Believe that God has forgiven you, tell others that you are now born again, saved, redeemed and a child of God, Rom 10:10

Step 5: Start to live the new life in Christ now and keep growing in Christ by reading the Word of God constantly, praying always and fellowshipping with other children of God in a Bible-believing Church, 2 Cor. 5:17

2. The next step in your Christian life is for you to get water baptism. How do I go about this? You cannot baptize yourself, therefore,

a) Meet your Pastor or Evangelist or Priest in your local Bible-believing Church

b) Tell him or her your faith in the Lord Jesus and your new birth experience

c) Request that he should arrange water baptism for you

d) Depending on the Church denomination, he may request that you undergo series of basic Biblical doctrines before baptizing you

e) Obey and submit yourself for the water baptism

If you have taken the above steps but have no one around that could baptize you by water immersion; and you truly want to be water baptized, fill in the spaces below and forward to us
