A9.9 – BENEFITS OF PRAYING IN UNKNOWN TONGUES

1. Any believer who prays in an unknown tongue prays with his spirit as the Holy Spirit gives utterance, 1Cor 14:2

2. Praying in unknown tongues helps to put the believer’s tongues in control, James 3:8-13

3. Praying in unknown tongues helps to always pray according to the will of God, since it is the Spirit that gives the utterance, and God is a Spirit, Rom 8:26

4. Praying in unknown tongues helps to pray without ceasing, 1 Thess 5:17-20

6. Praying in unknown tongues helps to train the mind in order to hear the voice of God distinctly, 1 Cor 2:9-12
